Beautiful Melbourne with Emma Kate Co.
Staying the night in one of our Deluxe Studio Suites, Emma indulged in a room-service breakfast while she worked window side. Melbourne put on a show and gave her a striking sunrise to inspire her for a busy day of exploring.
Swanston Street, Melbourne Central and some notorious laneways were on the must-see list, with street performers a bonus. A paper lover of all kinds, Emma Kate took time to explore the State Library of Victoria, taking in the magnificently carved ceilings and hallways adorned with art.
A day of exploring, calls for a night of relaxing. Back at The Olsen, Emma Kate reflects on the day just passed and all the treasures and wonders of Melbourne that exist only a tram ride away from Chapel Street.
Sleep over with us and explore Melbourne’s iconic landmarks all day long before heading back to your very own private sanctuary at The Olsen

A Celebration of John Olsen
It’s always a pleasure when John Olsen comes to stay at The Olsen but the other week we were treated to something a little extraordinary. John Olsen, in town to open his The You Beaut Country exhibition at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia — an exhibition where Art Series Hotel Group are proud partners — joined us at an intimate lunch held in his honour in the John Olsen penthouse.
