Two beautifully designed South Yarra restaurants are nestled in The Olsen. Spoonbill Restaurant and Bar and Steer Bar and Grill are two of Chapel Street’s hottest dining spots.

Spoonbill Restaurant and Bar

Providing a fresh take on South Yarra restaurants, Spoonbill draws inspiration from John Olsen’s Spoonbill etching. The restaurant and bar are as warm as they are inviting. Furnished with a combination of new and recycled accouterments, Spoonbill provides a perch to settle into either indoors or outdoors.

Enjoy a balmy evening or sunny day with alfresco dining on Chapel and Daly streets. For special occasions, reserve the luxurious private dining room for up to 12 guests.

Steer Bar and Grill

Steer features the largest selection of dry-aged grass- and grain-fed beef in Australia. Sourced from Victoria’s lush green pastures or top-quality NSW and Queensland grain-fed producers, our exclusive Wagyu beef ensures a unique Australian steakhouse experience.
