Federation Square Melbourne

Once dismissed as one of the world’s ugliest buildings, Federation Square has silenced its critics by becoming one of the most popular tourist attractions in Melbourne. 

60 million people have flocked to this cubic cultural hub since its opening in 2002, largely due to the huge number of events that take place there - and with over 2000 a year, there’s plenty to choose from. Each year the square hosts selected events from the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Melbourne Writer’s Festival and the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival.
